Alice Louise (Kershaw) Luckhardt (1950–2022) was a highly respected educator, author, and professional historian who dedicated her life to uncovering and preserving the local history of Stuart and Martin County, Florida. Her landmark work, Images of America: Stuart, published by Arcadia Publishing in September 2016, serves as a definitive visual legacy of the city’s early pioneer days.
